PHEBS undertakes, to the extent of its capabilities and conscientiously analyzing each request, to:

Fully or partially support tuition fees
Take care of the emotional bond of the child with what remains of his family. Active listening, empathy and moral support for children and their loved ones
Promote the search for emancipating and non-assisting solutions
Respect the traditional cultural and religious heritage of the family
Create a relationship of trust between the sponsored child and his sponsor in Europe with the supervision of the local team (Maria and Leema)
Strengthen the involvement of students / Indian citizens in the association

Assisted children live in Pondicherry, towns and villages nearby and attend private and public schools, primary, secondary, higher and even university.

Each year, students graduate from teaching, nursing, technicians, computer scientists, as well as doctors, biologists and engineers. This is great prospects for their future but also that of their loved ones.

Below the document signed by the child helped by PHEBS after analysis and acceptance of his request.

PHEBS is also:

- A place of reception for the children and their relatives:

At any time, day or night, the association opens its doors to listen, support, feed, temporarily accommodate children accompanied by our association.

Some families come from far away, children need a place to taste, to do their homework in peace, ...

During the school holidays, some children need a place of reception to avoid difficult situations (often important family problems), to take stock, to be with other children, ...

Orphans are sometimes raised by a grandmother who has to assume everything, a father who drinks, an aunt who does his best but who has other children and health problems, ... The examples are sadly numerous.

Our association becomes a little buoy, a parenthesis in the life of these children. This open door builds confidence with the child and helps him on his journey.

In addition, some donors, during their stay in India, offer children recreational moments, they are privileged moments that bring together the discovery of a place, an activity but also, and above all, the attention, of the benevolence, the exchange and the meeting of two different cultures which enrich each other.
